Fouzi Lekjaa Honored in Doha for His Commitment to Football

The Arab Association for Sports Culture awarded the Appreciation Prize for the year 2024 to Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), on Sunday in Doha.
Lekjaa received this honor during a ceremony held on the sidelines of the 5th Annual Congress of Arab Sports Culture, themed “Building the Olympic Champion.”
This accolade was conferred upon Lekjaa in recognition of his relentless efforts, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to develop national football, both in terms of training and infrastructure. These initiatives have led to remarkable achievements, notably securing 4th place at the World Cup (Qatar 2022).
The award also underscores Lekjaa’s significant role within continental and international bodies in promoting the development of Arab and African football.
