Saturday Weather: Cold in the Atlas Mountains, Strong Winds in Tangier, and Light Rain in the North

Weather Forecast for Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively cold weather on the Atlas mountains and the eastern high plateaus, especially during the morning and night.

Low Clouds and Light Rain
Dense, low clouds are expected, accompanied by very light rain over the northern Atlantic plains and the northwestern regions of the Saharan provinces. In the southern parts of the country, the sky will remain mostly clear to partially cloudy.

Strong Winds and Local Dust
Strong gusts of wind are anticipated in the Tangier region and the Saharan provinces, potentially stirring up dust in certain areas.

Temperature Fluctuations
Minimum temperatures will range between -5°C and -1°C in the Atlas mountains, between 3°C and 5°C in the Rif and Oriental regions, and between 16°C and 20°C in the southeast, south, and Souss region. Elsewhere, temperatures will range from 12°C to 15°C.
Maximum temperatures will see an increase in the northern Atlantic plains and central coasts, while a slight decrease is expected in other parts of the country.

Sea Conditions
The sea will be moderate to agitated in the Mediterranean, near the strait, as well as along the Atlantic coastline.
