Weather Forecast for Saturday: A Mix of Conditions Across the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced varied weather conditions for this Saturday across the Kingdom. A relative warmth is expected in the southern provinces, the Souss region, as well as the Tadla and Rhamna plains.

Morning Fog and Isolated Light Rain

Low clouds and fog formations are anticipated during the morning and night, especially in the northern Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean coast, with possible light rainfall in some areas. In the mountainous regions of the High and Middle Atlas, as well as in the Rif, the sky will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with scattered showers that may occasionally be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Moderate Winds and Dust Lifting

Moderate winds will blow over the Tangier region and southern provinces, potentially leading to localized uplift of sand and dust that could reduce visibility.

Slight Increase in Temperatures

Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 4°C in the high Atlas, between 6 and 10°C in the Rif and Oriental regions, between 19 and 25°C in the south, and between 12 and 19°C in the rest of the country. Maximum temperatures are expected to see a slight increase over the course of the day.

Sea Conditions

The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and calm to slightly rough along the Atlantic coast.
