Weather Forecast in Morocco: Variable Spring Weather Between Mildness and Instability
The General Directorate of Meteorology announces that this Saturday, contrasting weather conditions are expected across the Kingdom. A moderate heat wave is anticipated in the southern provinces, the Souss region, as well as the Tadla and Rhamna plains.
Morning Mist and Localized Light Rain
Low clouds and misty formations are expected to develop during the morning and night, particularly over the northern Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean coast, with the possibility of light precipitation in certain areas. In the High and Middle Atlas mountains, as well as the Rif region, the sky will range from mostly clear to partly cloudy, with scattered showers, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.
Moderate Winds and Sand Drift
Moderate winds will blow across the Tanger region and the southern provinces, potentially causing local sand and dust lifts, which may reduce visibility.
Slight Increase in Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range between 0 and 4°C in the high Atlas mountains, 6 to 10°C in the Rif and the Oriental regions, from 19 to 25°C in the south, and between 12 and 19°C in the rest of the country. Maximum temperatures will see a slight increase over the course of the day.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to choppy along the Atlantic coast.
