Telephone Conversation Between Nasser Bourita and Sergei Lavrov
On Friday, Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, held a telephone conversation with Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister.
During the call, both ministers expressed their satisfaction with the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation, reaffirming their shared commitment to further strengthen and deepen this partnership.
This dialogue coincides with the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Deepened Strategic Partnership between the two countries, which was signed in March 2016 in Moscow during the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The two officials also exchanged views on several current regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of ongoing consultation and enhanced coordination to contribute to the promotion of international peace and stability.
