Significant Increases in Water Reservoir Contributions Across Morocco

Several dams across the Kingdom of Morocco have reported a notable increase in their water inflows over the past 24 hours, from Sunday, May 3, to Monday, May 4, 2026. This boost is contributing to improved water reserves and overall filling levels nationwide.

In the province of Settat, the Al Massira Dam recorded the highest contributions, with 11.3 million cubic meters, bringing its filling rate to 41%.

Meanwhile, in the province of Taounate, the Al Wahda Dam saw an additional inflow of approximately 2.2 million cubic meters, elevating its filling rate to 88.2%.

In Kénitra, the El Makhazine-Sebou Dam benefited from 1.3 million cubic meters of water inflow, reaching a filling rate of 90.1%.

Also in Settat, the Douarate Dam received 0.9 million cubic meters, which raises its filling rate to 87.5%.

These indicators confirm a positive trend in Morocco’s hydrological situation, highlighted by significant contributions across various water storage infrastructures.
