Rain and Storm Risks in the South
Scattered rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected in the far southeast, the southern part of the eastern region, and in certain areas of the southern provinces.
Additionally, light rain or isolated showers will affect the Rif region, the northern and central coasts, as well as the Middle Atlas.
Strong Winds and Dust Swirls
The forecast also indicates quite strong wind gusts, locally very strong, over the Atlas Mountains, the southeast, the southern part of the Oriental region, and the southern provinces, accompanied by dust swirl phenomena in certain areas.
Contrasting Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range from 4 to 10°C in the mountainous areas of the Atlas and Rif, between 15 and 21°C in the southeast, the southern part of the Oriental region, and the eastern Saharan provinces, while temperatures will range from 10 to 15°C in the rest of the country.
Daytime temperatures will see a slight increase in the southern Saharan provinces, whereas they will decrease in other regions of the Kingdom.
Calm to Moderate Sea Conditions
Regarding the state of the sea, conditions will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait, while the Atlantic coastlines will experience slightly choppy to rough conditions.
