Strengthening Moroccan Administration: A New Cooperative Agreement
On Thursday, May 21, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed in Rabat between the General Directorate of National Security (Direction Générale de la Sûreté Nationale) and the Kingdom’s Mediator Institution (Institution du Médiateur du Royaume). This initiative is part of Morocco’s modernization efforts within its administrative framework.
Enhancing Complaint Processing and Coordination
The agreement aims to bolster institutional cooperation with the goal of modernizing administrative services, simplifying procedures, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens. A key aspect of the agreement is the establishment of a technical coordination framework between the two institutions, which will facilitate the swift handling of requests and administrative cases. It also seeks to improve the efficiency of complaint processing and enhance communication between administrative bodies and the public.
Accelerating Digital Transformation
This initiative aligns with the broader digital transformation of the public administration, focusing on the development of secure digital services and the integration of new technologies into administrative management. The objective is to reduce processing times, simplify procedures, and enhance service accessibility.
Building Trust and Data Security
Both institutions reaffirm their commitment to creating a more modern, effective, and transparent administration while placing a strong emphasis on the protection of personal data and the security of digital services. This agreement reflects a shared desire to strengthen a public administration that is more efficient and closer to its citizens.
