Weather in Morocco from Tuesday: Persistent heat, storms, and strong winds in several regions.
Stormy Showers Expected Over the Atlas Mountains
Unstable clouds accompanied by rain or local stormy showers are anticipated over the High Atlas and its eastern slopes, as well as sporadically in the southern Oriental region and the interior of Souss.
Low clouds are also expected to form during the morning and night along the Mediterranean coast and on the shores extending from El Jadida to Laâyoune, with misty conditions and some light local rain.
Wind Gusts and Dust Storms
Moderate to strong wind gusts are forecasted for the Tangier region, certain provinces in the south, the southeast of the country, Oriental areas, the Atlas mountains and their western regions, as well as Saïss, with localized dust storms in some places.
High Temperatures in Several Regions
Minimum temperatures will range from 6 to 13°C in the Atlas mountains, between 13 and 18°C in the Rif, the Mediterranean, the Oriental, and the southern coast, while they will fluctuate between 24 and 31°C in the northern and central plains, Saïss, the southeast, Souss, and the east and south of the Saharan provinces.
As for maximum temperatures, a slight decrease is expected along the central coasts, whereas an increase is anticipated on the southern coasts. Overall, temperatures across the rest of the Kingdom will remain stable.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be generally pleasant with slight agitation in the Mediterranean, and slightly choppy to choppy along the Strait and the Atlantic coasts.
