TGCC Group continues its development strategy in the construction sector. The company plans to take joint control of SAFETTRAS, a Moroccan specialist in special foundations and soil improvement, alongside its historical shareholders.

TGCC Aims for Joint Control of SAFETTRAS

Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca (TGCC) intends to take joint control of Société Africaine des Études et des Travaux Spéciaux (SAFETTRAS), alongside its historical shareholders, Salah El Mouda and Khali Moulay Lhassan.

This operation involves a joint stake in this Moroccan company, which specializes in special foundation works—an area that is crucial for major construction and infrastructure projects.

SAFETTRAS, a Recognized Player in Special Foundations

Located in Dar Bouazza, near Casablanca, SAFETTRAS specializes in special foundations and soil improvement.

The company engages in projects that require advanced technical solutions, including ground stabilization, soil treatment, and the creation of foundations tailored for complex structures. Its expertise is an essential link in large-scale building and civil engineering projects.

TGCC Pursues Its Diversification Strategy

As a leading player in Morocco’s construction sector, TGCC is involved in a variety of large-scale projects, including hotel complexes, administrative buildings, industrial infrastructure, airports, stadiums, and health and educational institutions.

This initiative aligns with the group’s strategy to enhance its integration across the entire construction value chain and to develop high-value technical skills.

Historical Shareholders to Remain Partners

As part of this operation, the founders and historical shareholders of SAFETTRAS, Salah El Mouda and Khali Moulay Lhassan, will retain their equity stake in the company.

This joint governance is expected to preserve the expertise developed by SAFETTRAS while benefiting from the financial and operational capabilities of TGCC to support its development.
