Casablanca-Settat Invests 35 Million DH in an Integrated Information System

The Council of the Casablanca-Settat region has taken a significant step forward in modernizing its administration. It has recently launched a project to establish an integrated information system (IIS), with a budget of 35 million dirhams, aimed at enhancing internal management and strengthening the performance of regional services.
Scheduled to span a nine-month period, this initiative is part of a broader strategy to digitize local government operations. Its goal is to streamline the exchange of information among various departments within the region.
A Platform for Modernizing Administrative Management
The future information system will be implemented in four successive phases: needs analysis, solution design, software development, and deployment within regional services, followed by user training and change management support.
This digital platform will automate several strategic functions, including human resource management, budget and accounting monitoring, correspondence management, archive management, and project oversight. The aim is to ensure quick, secure, and reliable access to the data necessary for decision-making.
Data-Driven Governance
The project is based on a thorough analysis of the current organizational structure of the region to identify the specific needs of each department and enhance coordination among different services.
Once operational, the system will provide a secure digital environment that facilitates information sharing while ensuring data traceability and performance monitoring through key performance indicators (KPIs). It will also integrate financial processes and human resource management tools.
A Lever for Digital Transformation of Local Governments
Through this initiative, the Casablanca-Settat region aims to modernize its governance and improve the efficiency of its administrative services.
This project aligns with the national dynamic of digital transformation in public administration, aiming to provide more efficient, transparent management that is better oriented towards the needs of citizens and institutional partners. The opening of bids is scheduled for September 8, 2026.
