The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued the following weather forecast for Wednesday, April 9, 2025:

• The weather is expected to be mostly cloudy, with localized rainfall and thunderstorms in the southern region of the High Atlas and its eastern slopes, as well as in the Souss area.

• There will be periods of partly cloudy weather with scattered showers in Abda, Chiadma, and the northwest of the Saharan provinces.

• Partly cloudy conditions are also anticipated over the Rif, the Atlas, and the northern Atlantic plains.

• A few snowflakes may fall in the High and Middle Atlas regions.

• Strong gusts of wind, at times quite vigorous, are expected in Tangiers, the Oriental region, the Southeast, the Atlas, central areas, and in the northern parts of the southern provinces.

• Localized dust storms may occur in the southern Oriental, the Atlas, the central interior, and the northern Saharan provinces.

• Minimum temperatures will range from 3 to 11°C in the Atlas and Rif, from 16 to 22°C in the extreme Southeast, the central coast, and the Souss, and from 11 to 16°C in the rest of the country.

• Overall, daytime temperatures are anticipated to drop.

• The sea will be rough in the Strait, slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, and rough along the Atlantic coasts, with localized calm conditions expected between Tarfaya and Boujdour.
