Agadir: 140 INDH Projects Approved to Support Youth

The Provincial Committee for Human Development of Agadir Ida-Outanane convened under the presidency of the wali of the Souss-Massa region, the governor of the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture, to review several projects listed under the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
The meeting specifically focused on the examination and approval of projects under Program III, dedicated to improving income and promoting economic inclusion for young people, as well as programming the remaining credits available under Programs II and IV.
140 Projects with Over 8.6 Million Dirhams
In total, 140 projects were presented under Program III, with a total budget set at 8.632 million dirhams, including 7.0285 million dirhams from the INDH contribution.
These projects span various sectors and fields of intervention, aiming to address the identified economic and social priorities at the prefecture level.
The mobilized funding is expected to support initiatives aimed at improving incomes, promoting economic integration, and creating new opportunities for young people.
Youth Entrepreneurship at the Heart of Program III
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to enhance economic inclusion for young people through support for project holders and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
The goal is to foster the emergence of income-generating activities and sustainable jobs while providing tailored support for young entrepreneurs.
This direction aligns with the objectives of Program III of the INDH, which aims, among other things, to facilitate the economic integration of young people and to support projects likely to contribute to local development.
Available Credits Directed Toward Priority Projects
The Provincial Committee also reviewed the programming of credits still available under Programs II and IV of the INDH.
The wali stressed the importance of allocating these resources to projects that have a tangible impact on benefiting populations, with particular attention to improving living conditions for vulnerable individuals and enhancing human capital.
The selected projects should address the identified needs in the territory and adhere to a logic of effectiveness and sustainability.
Governance and Monitoring at the Core of Directions
The meeting also served as a reminder of the importance of good governance, the convergence of interventions, and the monitoring and evaluation of funded projects.
The stated objective is to ensure the optimal use of mobilized resources and to strengthen the effectiveness of actions undertaken within the framework of the INDH.
This approach should allow for better measurement of project impacts and ensure that the investments made effectively meet the needs of the targeted populations.
Thus, the meeting of the Provincial Committee continues the efforts of the National Initiative for Human Development in the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture, with a particular focus on economic inclusion of young people, improving living conditions, and territorial human development.
