Lana Cash Launches Merchant Payment Service in Under 24 Hours

Lana Cash Launches ’24-Hour Quick Payment’ Service for Merchants

Lana Cash, a payment institution and subsidiary of CIH Bank, has announced the launch of its new service, “24-Hour Quick Payment.” This service allows affiliated merchants to receive funds from credit card transactions in less than 24 hours after their electronic processing, including weekends and holidays.

According to the institution, this solution aims to expedite the payment disbursement process for merchants without requiring them to hold a bank account with a specific institution. This initiative is part of a broader effort to advance electronic payment solutions in Morocco and better meet the needs of businesses.

In a climate where managing cash flow timelines is crucial for companies, quick access to revenue enhances cash management, enables purchasing, facilitates supplier payments, and covers operating expenses without waiting for traditional payment cycles.

The “24-Hour Quick Payment” service thus shortens the interval between payment completion and the actual availability of funds. It provides merchants with improved visibility into their cash flows and greater flexibility in managing their financial commitments.

This feature is particularly advantageous for transactions conducted over the weekends and leading up to holidays, as it allows for processing payments without waiting for the usual processing cycles to resume.

The new offering complements Lana Cash’s existing solutions focused on electronic payment acceptance, including electronic payment terminals (EPTs) and online payment solutions tailored for independent merchants, store networks, and brands.

Beyond accelerating payment disbursements, this initiative reflects a shift in electronic payment services, where the speed of fund availability is becoming as important as the transaction execution itself.

Lana Cash aims to develop faster and more flexible solutions, with the prospect of Instant Settlement on the horizon, which will further reduce the time between transaction completion and fund availability for merchants.

This evolution addresses the professionals’ needs regarding liquidity and financial flow management, recognizing that their business obligations continue even during weekends and holidays.
