Bank of Africa Launches National Tour to Support Micro and Small Businesses
On Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Tangier, Bank of Africa launched a national tour aimed at supporting micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and project initiators. This initiative is designed to facilitate their access to financing, support mechanisms, and investment opportunities while enhancing their assistance at every stage of development.
This tour is part of the implementation of the Charter on financing and support for MSEs and will be conducted in several cities across the Kingdom. It relies on the engagement of institutional and economic partners, including Regional Investment Centers (CRI), Tamwilcom, and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
The plan includes dedicated meetings and guidance spaces where entrepreneurs can identify solutions tailored to their needs. Support services encompass project diagnostics, investment opportunity identification, preliminary financing needs assessment, and assistance in preparing bankable proposals.
The tour also aims to bring project holders closer to organizations that can facilitate their processes, such as CRI, Tamwilcom, the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), and the National Agency for Employment and Skills Promotion (ANAPEC).
In Tangier, discussions focused on guarantee mechanisms designed to ease MSEs’ access to funding and the investment aids provided by CRI. These initiatives revolve around several key objectives, including the creation of stable jobs, reduction of territorial disparities, and support for activities deemed priorities.
Additionally, the initiative seeks to strengthen synergies among banking, institutional, and economic actors to help entrepreneurs better structure their projects and overcome challenges encountered during their launch or development. Special attention is given to promoting female entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
With experience gained from supporting and advising over 2,000 MSEs each year, Bank of Africa aims, through this tour, to contribute to the structuring of the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, foster the realization of projects, and support the creation of value and jobs throughout the Kingdom’s regions.
