Dari Couspate: Activity Declines in Q1 2026 Due to Logistical Disruptions

Dari Couspate Reports Decline in Revenue Amid Logistical Challenges
The agribusiness group Dari Couspate has reported a decline in its revenue for the first quarter of 2026, a downturn attributed to logistical disruptions that have impacted its supply and export operations.
Quarterly revenue reached 175.3 million dirhams, marking a decrease compared to the same period last year. This decline is primarily linked to logistical difficulties, which were exacerbated by unfavorable weather conditions leading to exceptional port congestion.
These disruptions affected both the supply of raw materials, particularly imported durum wheat, and the export of finished products, thereby slowing the overall pace of the group’s activities.
Financially, leasing commitments also saw a decline during this period, dropping from 36.33 million dirhams to 23.25 million dirhams. Additionally, the group secured a bank loan of 117.5 million dirhams aimed at bolstering its subsidiary ARDI MILLS, which specializes in semolina production.
This funding is part of the finalization of the acquisition of assets from the company Grandes Semouleries du Maroc, a strategic project initiated in 2025, with completion expected in the first half of 2026.
Despite this challenging macroeconomic environment, Dari Couspate remains committed to its development strategy and the enhancement of its industrial capacities, focusing on optimizing its operations and expanding its activities in both national and international markets.
