FEMMPACT II Launches New Phase to Support Women Entrepreneurs in West Africa

The FEMMPACT II program enters a new phase with the ambition to enhance support for women entrepreneurs in West Africa. Developed through a triangular cooperation between Morocco, Germany, and several African countries, this initiative aims to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems and promote the development of innovative projects led by women.
The program is implemented by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) and GIZ Morocco, in partnership with the Social Innovation Lab (SIL) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
Strengthening Support Structures
This second edition places a strong emphasis on developing the skills of incubators and partnering support structures to provide better assistance to women project leaders.
The goal is to create a more favorable environment for female entrepreneurship through training, mentoring, sharing best practices, and personalized support aimed at accelerating the growth of women-led businesses.
Regional Cooperation to Foster Innovation
In this new phase, the program teams are actively engaging with actors within the entrepreneurial ecosystem in West Africa. Field missions have allowed for the identification of specific needs among women entrepreneurs and strengthened partnerships with local institutions.
This approach aims to foster the emergence of innovative projects, encourage the sharing of expertise among the different partner countries, and build a regional network capable of sustainably supporting female entrepreneurs.
A Pan-African Network for Entrepreneurs
Beyond technical support, FEMMPACT II aims to develop a genuine pan-African community dedicated to female entrepreneurship.
The program offers participants networking opportunities, access to experts, skill development, and cooperation with incubators from several African countries. This approach promotes experience sharing and the emergence of new economic collaborations across the region.
A Lever for More Inclusive Growth
Through this new stage, FEMMPACT II reaffirms its commitment to promoting innovative, inclusive, and sustainable female entrepreneurship. By focusing on international cooperation, capacity building, and innovation, the program aims to contribute to the creation of more competitive businesses and the economic empowerment of women in West Africa.
