The King of Jordan Reaffirms His Country’s Support for Lebanon and Calls for De-escalation
On Thursday, King Abdallah II of Jordan underscored the urgent need to halt Israeli attacks against Lebanon, particularly those targeting civilians, emphasizing the importance of protecting populations and maintaining stability.
Jordan’s Solidarity with Lebanon
During a phone call with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, the king reiterated Jordan’s support for the Lebanese people, highlighting his country’s willingness to provide any form of assistance that could enhance Lebanon’s security and stability.
Call for Increased International Mobilization
King Abdallah II also called for intensified international efforts to end the escalation and reinforce the ceasefire, particularly in light of the agreement reached between the United States and Iran.

Finally, he emphasized that Lebanon’s stability is a crucial pillar of regional security and called for enhanced international coordination to prevent any further escalation of tensions.
