The Open House Days of SRM Marrakech-Safi Continue Under the Sign of Innovation and Sustainability

Open House Days at the Regional Multiservice Company of Marrakech-Safi (SRM-MS) continue in a vibrant and participatory atmosphere, marked by strong engagement from youth, local stakeholders, and the general public.
This initiative, taking place from October 28 to 31, 2025 at the Mohammed VI Museum for the Civilization of Water (Museum Aman), combines awareness, innovation, and environmental education centered around issues of water and sustainability.
A Hackathon to Innovate Around Water and Energy
The first day featured the official launch of the “Water and Innovation” Hackathon, bringing together students, start-ups, and young inventors aimed at developing concrete solutions to challenges related to water, energy, and sustainability.
Teams continue their work in a co-creation workshop, where ideas are taking shape in a spirit of collaboration and initiative.
The “Ecological Village”: A Space for Learning and Creativity
Within the ecological village, educational workshops and interactive activities have been launched for students and youth in the region to promote a culture of environmental protection and natural resource preservation.
A drawing competition also allowed children to express their vision of a more balanced and sustainable world.

Dialogue on Sustainable Resource Management
Open discussion sessions brought together experts, local stakeholders, and civil society representatives around topics such as public service management, water governance, and sustainable development models.
These exchanges highlighted that trust, proximity, and listening are the pillars of a common regional culture dedicated to the protection of water and energy.
An Initiative Aligned with the Royal Vision for Sustainable Water Management
SRM Marrakech-Safi emphasizes that this initiative is part of the royal vision for the rational management of water resources, aiming to enhance citizen awareness regarding the growing pressures on water.
The company reminds us that water is a common good and that its preservation represents a collective responsibility involving institutions, citizens, and civil society.

Conferences, Screenings, and Partnerships for a Model Region
The program also includes conferences, documentary screenings, and thematic exchanges bringing together experts, institutions, and economic players, in partnership with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Mohammed VI Museum for the Civilization of Water, and Emerging Business Factory.
This event marks a significant step in promoting a culture of sustainability at the regional level and confirms the commitment to making the Marrakech-Safi region a national model for innovation in water management.
