The season of arts and innovation returns to Riad Sultan, inviting you on a captivating journey where history intertwines with the beauty of the arts. In April 2025, Riad Sultan will unveil a rich and diverse program that fuels passion, creativity, and curiosity. This month will be marked by a series of exceptional events ranging from live performances to creative workshops, all led by iconic figures from the artistic and cultural world. It is a true cultural crossroads where art becomes a means of dialogue and connection, offering each participant a unique and immersive experience.

Art and Theater: A Living Stage of Dreams

Throughout April, Riad Sultan will celebrate the arts in all their forms: theater, music, dance, photography, and much more. It’s an unmissable rendezvous for all art and culture enthusiasts.

As part of the monthly seminars organized by the AL BOUGHAZ Association, Riad Sultan will host an exceptional meeting on April 10. The seminar, titled "Tangier: A Crossroads of Perspectives – From Orientalism to Contemporary Photography," led by Mehdi SEFRIOUI, will take you on a visual journey through time, shedding light on the unique cultural history of Tangier.

Dance performances will continue to energize the season. On April 11, in partnership with the Malabata-Thau Association from Sète (France), Riad Sultan will welcome choreographer Germana CIVERA for her performance "The Danger of a Single Story." This performance invites audiences to understand the world through a diverse lens, breaking stereotypes.

On April 14, Riad Sultan will offer a unique scientific experience with the screening of "Big Bang – The Call of Origins," followed by a stimulating debate with astronomer Sylvie VAUCLAIR. This journey through the history of the universe will deepen your understanding of the cosmos’s mysteries.

On April 18 and 19, don’t miss the solo performance "THE CANCER CONSTELLATION," interpreted by Marie TAHRA. This poignant drama addresses themes of resistance, despair, and resilience in the face of illness, weaving together hope, tenderness, and humor.

Finally, on April 28, 29, and 30, Riad Sultan will offer a performance dedicated to the youngest audiences with "Tales and Notes." Fadwa KARTAF, accompanied by Younes FAKHAR, will guide children into a magical universe where storytelling and music intertwine, igniting their imaginations.

Training and Workshops: A Space for Creativity and Innovation

Riad Sultan also opens its doors to young talents and professionals eager to refine their skills. In collaboration with the National Theater of Belfort (France), specialized workshops will be offered, focusing on theatrical lighting, dance, and cultural space management. These training sessions allow participants to meet experts and stimulate their creativity in an environment conducive to experimentation.

Theater workshops led by Malika ZIRARI will explore improvisation, physical expression, and dramatic writing. Additionally, circus and theater workshops for children will be held every Sunday morning, providing a wonderful opportunity for young people to develop their self-confidence and creativity.
