The Casablanca Stock Exchange Begins on a Positive Note

Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher on Monday
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began the week on a positive note, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.29% to reach 18,258.14 points.
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, climbed 0.38% to 1,483.33 points, while the MASI ESG, which comprises companies with the best ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, increased by 0.44% to 1,242.06 points.
In contrast, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, a benchmark for small and medium-sized capitalizations, saw a decline of 0.87%, settling at 1,754.15 points.
In individual stock performances, Disty Technologies led the gains with a 4.99% increase to 358 MAD, followed by Akdital (+4.76% to 1,299 MAD), Cartier Saada (+3.76% to 35.90 MAD), LafargeHolcim Maroc (+2.87% to 1,867 MAD), and Addoha (+2.73% to 37.20 MAD).
On the other hand, Colorado fell by 4.43% to 83.05 MAD, BMCI decreased by 3.93% to 538 MAD, Auto Hall dropped by 3.72% to 90.50 MAD, CMGP Group declined by 2.33% to 336 MAD, and CFG Bank slipped by 2.04% to 240 MAD.
On Friday, the MASI concluded with a gain of 0.51%.
