Professional Integration: 97 Young Individuals Placed in the Hospitality Sector by Nafass

Celebration of Professional Integration for Youth in Casablanca-Settat
An official ceremony was held on Monday at the Casablanca-Settat regional headquarters to honor the graduation of 97 young beneficiaries of the Nafass program. This innovative initiative aims to facilitate the professional integration of NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) into the hospitality and catering sectors.
The program is part of a decentralized cooperation framework between the Casablanca-Settat region and the Île-de-France region, formalized by the signing of a roadmap covering the period from 2025 to 2027. This collaboration seeks to enhance access to sustainable employment through intensive training pathways that focus on both technical and soft skills.
Participants underwent a specialized practical module in hospitality and catering, followed by a month of training in soft skills, including communication, personal development, and self-confidence. The program boasts an impressive insertion rate of 95%.
Abdellatif Maâzouz, the President of the Regional Council, expressed his satisfaction with the success of this inaugural edition. He emphasized that these results were achieved in "four to six months," thanks to rigorous training and a structured support system that aims to bolster young people’s autonomy and self-confidence.
Mr. Maâzouz also voiced the region’s desire to expand this model to other sectors and territories, thereby providing new opportunities for a greater number of young people seeking to enter the workforce.
The graduates shared their pride and satisfaction following the ceremony, viewing this training as a significant turning point in their professional lives. Many see it as a real chance for reintegration, career orientation, and the building of a stable future.
The Casablanca-Settat region also used this event to showcase its other initiatives aimed at promoting employment and social inclusion. In partnership with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, it supports various social and solidarity economy projects that have created 2,933 jobs, including 933 in the year 2025 alone.
Key structuring programs include:
- Art Factory for cultural industries,
- TIBU for sports entrepreneurship,
- Mashrou3i for young project holders,
- LionsGeek dedicated to digital professions.
These initiatives have enabled the training, insertion, or support of hundreds of young people in promising sectors.
Through Nafass and other actions, the Casablanca-Settat region reaffirms its commitment to inclusive, sustainable development focused on the socio-professional integration of youth.
