Launch of the 19th World Water Congress in Marrakech with Strong International Participation
The proceedings of the 19th World Water Congress commenced yesterday in Marrakech, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
This significant event sees a substantial international participation, bringing together experts, researchers, decision-makers, as well as representatives from civil society and the private sector from all corners of the globe.
Active Participation of SRM Marrakech–Safi
The Regional Multi-Service Company of Marrakech–Safi (SRM-MS) is participating in this major global event, which this year is themed:
“Water in a Changing World: Innovation and Adaptation.”
This congress serves as a unique opportunity to address the growing challenges related to water resources and propose innovative solutions in response to the impacts of climate change.
A First Day Marked by Intense Activities
The inaugural day featured the presence of high-level delegations, including ministers and international officials. SRM-MS participated in the official opening sessions and welcomed several invited delegations.
They also conducted technical visits of the various booths at the International Water Fair, facilitating the exchange of expertise on topics such as:
• Water resource management and sustainability,
• Desalination technologies,
• Wastewater reuse,
• Climate change adaptation.
