The Al Wahda Dam Leads: Increase in Water Resources from the Kingdom’s Dams

The water resources of several dams across the Kingdom have experienced a notable increase over the past 24 hours, due to significant water inflows that have improved their filling rates.

Al Wahda Takes the Lead

In the Taounate province, Al Wahda Dam recorded the highest inflow, amounting to 201.4 million cubic meters, bringing its filling rate to 86.2%.

Idriss I Dam, located in the same province, received 41.7 million cubic meters, achieving a filling rate of 62.6%.

Other Dams Show Improvement

Bin El Ouidane Dam – Azilal: 22.9 million cubic meters, filling rate of 41.1%.

Dar Kharoufa Dam – Larache: 21.6 million cubic meters, filling rate of 54.2%.

Ahmed El Hansali Dam – Béni Mellal: 12.7 million cubic meters, filling rate of 65.3%.

Al Massira Dam – Settat: 10.4 million cubic meters, filling rate of 14.4%.

These figures underscore the positive impact of the water inflows on the national water stock and the capacity of the dams to meet the Kingdom’s water needs.
