Thursday, the First Day of Ramadan in Morocco

The holy month of Ramadan for the year 1447 of the Hijra will begin on Thursday, February 19, in Morocco, as announced by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
In a statement, the ministry noted that the crescent moon marking the blessed month of Ramadan was observed on Wednesday, the 29th of Chaâbane, 1447 of the Hijra, which corresponds to February 18, 2026, confirming that the lunar sighting was successful.
Therefore, the first day of Ramadan will be on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
