Al Hoceima Airport: Over 23% Increase in Passenger Traffic in January (ONDA)

Al Hoceima’s Chérif Al Idrissi Airport recorded a more than 23.3% increase in passenger traffic in January 2026 compared to the same month last year, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA).

Thus, Al Hoceima Airport welcomed 10,026 passengers in January, up from 8,128 in January 2025, as stated by ONDA in a press release.

In terms of airport operations, this airport recorded a 12.5% increase in movements last January, totaling around 108 movements compared to 96 movements year-on-year.

In 2025, the number of passengers transiting through this airport saw a 15.5% increase compared to the previous year, reaching 137,769 travelers, up from 119,256 in 2024.

According to ONDA, Moroccan airports recorded over 3.13 million passengers in January, representing a 14.7% increase compared to the same month in 2025.
