Rabat: The 5th Edition of the International Health Training Congress Focuses on Innovation

International Congress on Healthcare Training in Rabat

The city of Rabat is hosting the fifth edition of the International Congress on Healthcare Training from March 26 to 28. This significant event gathers experts and key players in health science education and pedagogical innovation.

Organized by the Moroccan Association of Simulation in Health Sciences in partnership with the International University of Rabat, the congress was preceded by a preliminary day on March 25, attended by institutional leaders and numerous academic and scientific personalities.

Over the years, this meeting has established itself as an essential international event, highlighting key themes such as health simulation, pedagogical innovation, and technological transformations in medical education. Morocco affirms its position among the leading countries in the field of applied health simulation.

This edition focuses on scientific research in medical simulation, the integration of new educational approaches in training, and supporting reforms in medical studies. It also addresses current topics such as digital health, immersive technologies, and the use of artificial intelligence in education.

The program stands out for organizing several concurrent international events, including “Simulation 2026,” the first Arab congress dedicated to health simulation, “SimTech 2026,” which focuses on simulation technicians, and “HackMed 2026,” a hackathon aimed at innovation in medical training.

More than 15 scientific tracks are scheduled, featuring lectures, practical workshops, educational sessions, and presentations of technological innovations. The event brings together over 50 international experts and representatives from more than 14 specialized scientific associations.

Hundreds of participants from over 25 countries, including educators, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, engineers, and students, are participating in this gathering. The congress aims to strengthen international scientific cooperation, encourage research, and promote pedagogical innovation to improve the quality of healthcare training and, consequently, healthcare services.
