Weather in Morocco this Friday: Persistent heat and thunderstorms in several regions.

Weather Forecast: Continued Warmth Across Various Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts persistently warm weather this Friday in several regions of the Kingdom. Notably, this includes the Southeast, Saharan provinces, the Tadla and Rehamna plains, as well as the interior areas of Gharb and Souss, along with the Moulouya Valley.

Thunderstorms, occasionally accompanied by hail, are also expected in the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, the Southeast, the Oriental region, Saïss, and the Phosphate Plateaus.

During the morning and night, low clouds accompanied by patches of fog are anticipated along the Mediterranean coastline and on certain Atlantic coasts and plains.

Moderate to strong gusts of wind are also in the forecast for the Atlas mountains, the Southeast, and the Southern provinces, with a risk of localized dust uplift.

Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 28 and 32 °C in the Southeast, East, and southern Saharan provinces, the Moulouya Valley, the interior of Souss and Chichaoua, as well as in the Tadla and Rehamna plains.

Meanwhile, temperatures will vary between 14 and 20 °C in the Atlas mountains and near the coast, while remaining between 21 and 28 °C across the rest of the Kingdom.

Throughout the day, temperatures are anticipated to rise along the Mediterranean coastline and in the eastern part of the country, while a decrease is expected in other regions.

As for the state of the sea, it will be calm to moderately agitated in the Mediterranean and the Strait, slightly agitated to the north of El Jadida, and moderately agitated to agitated to the south of El Jadida.
