Maroc Leasing Continues Growth Momentum in First Half of 2026

Maroc Leasing sustained its growth momentum during the first half of 2026, reporting an increase in both revenue and net profit, while also seeing a rise in its financing portfolio compared to the end of 2025.

According to the company’s financial results, revenue reached 2.379 billion dirhams by the end of June 2026, up from 2.156 billion dirhams during the same period in 2025, reflecting an annual increase of 10.4%.

This performance was particularly bolstered by the results from the second quarter, during which revenue hit 1.162 billion dirhams, compared to 1.048 billion dirhams the previous year, marking a growth of 10.9%.

Over the first six months of the year, net banking income amounted to 181.74 million dirhams, compared to 171.27 million dirhams in the first half of 2025, representing a growth of 6.1%.

However, in the second quarter, net banking income showed a slight decline of 0.8%, standing at 75.55 million dirhams versus 76.18 million dirhams in the same period last year.

Net profit also saw a minor decrease in the second quarter, reaching 26.56 million dirhams, down from 26.81 million dirhams a year earlier, which corresponds to a 0.9% drop.

Despite this slight quarterly dip, Maroc Leasing closed the first half of the year on a positive note. Net profit stood at 55.4 million dirhams, compared to 52.72 million dirhams in the first half of 2025, reflecting a growth of 5.1%.

On the financing side, the total financing portfolio continued to advance, reaching 14.26 billion dirhams by the end of June 2026, compared to 13.77 billion dirhams at the end of December 2025, marking an increase of 3.6%.

The company’s total debt also rose, increasing from 11.99 billion dirhams at the end of 2025 to 12.52 billion dirhams six months later, which represents a growth of 4.4%.

This debt primarily consists of 11.68 billion dirhams in bank loans, which increased by 4.65%, and approximately 842.25 million dirhams in private debt, which rose by 1.66%.

These results underscore sustained growth in Maroc Leasing’s operations during the first half of 2026, with improvements in revenue, profitability, and financing volumes, despite a slight slowdown in certain indicators during the second quarter.
