Hakim Ziyech Joins Al-Nassr After a Mixed Stint at Galatasaray

Emirati club Al-Nasr has finalized a free transfer agreement with Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech to replace Adel Taarabt, who has now joined Sharjah FC. According to local media, Ziyech, a former Chelsea player and current number 22 at Galatasaray, is expected to arrive in Dubai “today or tomorrow” for his medical examination.

After prolonged negotiations, Al-Nasr successfully reached a final agreement with the player, despite interest from several other clubs, including LOSC Lille.

Ziyech joined Galatasaray on loan in 2023 before signing a permanent contract with the Turkish club in 2024. However, his time in Turkey has been plagued by multiple injuries that kept him off the pitch for extended periods. This season, he has only played 11 matches, including 5 in the league and 3 in the Europa League.
