The benchmark index, MASI, recorded a rise of 0.19%, reaching 19,078.44 points, indicating a limited but positive improvement at the start of the session.
Slight Rise in Large Capitalizations
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the 20 largest listed companies, increased by 0.23%, settling at 1,406.3 points. This gain was supported by strong performances from several leading stocks.
Rise in Responsible Companies
Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, which comprises companies meeting environmental, social, and governance criteria, gained 0.22%, achieving 1,345.63 points. This upward trend confirms the growing interest among investors in responsible investments.
Strong Dynamics Among Small and Medium Capitalizations
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index saw the strongest increase of the day, climbing 0.29% to 1,956.41 points. This surge illustrates a revival of activity within the small and medium-sized enterprise segment at the onset of the session.
