Direct Housing Assistance: Over 101,000 Beneficiaries as of May 7

This initiative is part of a new public policy that replaces the indirect aid system for real estate developers, now providing grants directly to citizens.

Thousands of Applications Registered

The program has received approximately 263,000 applications from 214,000 citizens, with 193,000 people declared eligible.

According to the figures released, 60% of the beneficiaries belong to the middle class, confirming that this demographic is the target of the initiative.

Significant Participation from Women, Youth, and Expats

Women account for 47% of the beneficiaries, while individuals under 40 years of age make up 52% of the total.

Moroccans living abroad (MRE) also represent a significant portion, constituting 24% of the beneficiaries.

A Digital Platform for Enhanced Transparency

The program is built on a digital platform that allows citizens to verify their eligibility using their national identity card and quickly obtain proof of their status.

The procedures, including the processing of sales promises, are governed by specific deadlines to ensure transparency and efficiency in the system.

A Significant Economic Impact

Economically, the number of homes subsidized by the state has increased by 6.7%, reaching approximately 99,000 units by 2025.

The total value of the homes acquired through the program exceeds 41 billion dirhams, with the state’s contribution estimated at nearly 8 billion dirhams, representing about 20% of the total.

A Step Towards Eliminating Substandard Housing

This program, combined with previous initiatives, is expected to contribute to the fight against slums and substandard housing as part of the national five-year plan.
