Casablanca to Host the 8th Edition of Industry Meeting Days
On June 11 and 12, Casablanca will host the 8th edition of the Industry Meeting Days (IMD), a pivotal event for industry stakeholders in Morocco and Africa. Organized by Industrie du Maroc Magazine under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this year’s event will take place at the International Corporate Events Center (ICEC) under the theme: "Morocco, Gateway to Global Industries."
This new edition comes at a time when the Kingdom has been rising as a regional and international industrial hub. Driven by the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco’s industrial strategy focuses on strengthening economic sovereignty, fostering innovation, enhancing competitiveness, and promoting sustainable development.
Over the course of two days, public officials, business leaders, investors, experts, and representatives from national and international institutions will come together to discuss the significant transformations reshaping the global industry. Key topics of discussion will include the reconfiguration of global value chains, infrastructure and logistics, industrial financing, investment attractiveness, energy transition, green industry, as well as the rise of artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0.
According to Hicham Rahioui Idrissi, CEO of Industrie du Maroc Magazine, this event aims to further reinforce Morocco’s positioning within major international value chains and foster synergies among industrialists, investors, and decision-makers.
The 2026 edition will feature several innovative formats, including high-level panels, expert debates, interactions between leaders and journalists, and a Startup Village dedicated to young companies operating in industrial, technological, and deep-tech sectors.
The event will also include B2B meetings, networking sessions, and an exhibition showcasing industrial players and territories engaged in the Kingdom’s economic transformation. The proceedings will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing innovation, performance, and the social commitment of industrial actors.
Through this 8th edition, the Industry Meeting Days solidify their role as a strategic platform dedicated to industrial development and the promotion of Morocco as an essential hub for industry in Africa and the Mediterranean region.
