Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange launched its trading session on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, on an optimistic note, buoyed by a bullish trend in its main indices.

The benchmark index, MASI, increased by 0.25%, reaching 18,392.5 points.

Sector Indices Also on the Rise

The MASI.20 index recorded a 0.19% gain, standing at 1,352.37 points, while the MASI.ESG index rose by 0.13%, settling at 1,309.43 points.

Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index performed the best, advancing by 0.83% to reach 1,890.73 points.

Mixed Performances Among Listed Stocks

On the individual stocks market, several shares saw significant gains, particularly those of Société Minière de Touissit, Hightech Payment Systems, Jet Contractors, Taqa Morocco, and Managem.

Conversely, some stocks experienced declines, including Afriquia Industries, Sanlam Maroc, Cash Plus, Involys, and Cartier Saada.

Recovery After a Down Day

This positive opening follows a downturn on Monday, when the MASI dropped by 0.54%.
