Justice Officials Move Toward Establishing a National Association for the Defense and Promotion of Court Personnel’s Rights

Creation of the National Association of Justice Officials: A Step Towards Professional Solidarity
Officials from the Ministry of Justice are moving towards establishing the National Association of Justice Officials, an independent national framework aimed at enhancing social and professional action within the sector. This initiative will address issues related to court staff and clerks, support modernization efforts in the judicial administration, and recognize human resources as the vital core of the judicial system.
The forthcoming national founding congress of this association, to be held in Agadir, will gather delegates from various judicial districts across the Kingdom and the central administration. This event culminates a preparatory process that has spanned several months and has involved extensive consultations among numerous professionals and leaders in the Justice sector. The goal has been to create a renewed institutional framework that responds to the professional and social needs of officials.
In this context, Dr. Mohamed Aberbach, a member of the founding congress’s preparatory committee leadership, expressed that the establishment of the National Association of Justice Officials arises from a collective belief in the necessity of creating an institutional space that unites sector officials around common goals based on solidarity, communication, training, and responsible advocacy.
He emphasized that the association aims to accompany the profound transformations currently experienced by the judicial system, contributing to the enhancement of human resources, promoting ongoing training, and paying special attention to professional and scientific skills and expertise. The human element is considered essential for the success of reform and modernization projects.
Dr. Aberbach further noted that the choice of the slogan “Together for Professional Dignity, Effective Justice, and Efficient Communication” reflects the vision and strategic objectives of the association. It aspires to strengthen the role of Justice officials within the judicial system, advocate for their social and professional interests, and improve their working conditions as well as the services available to them and their families.
Moreover, he indicated that the association is looking to launch concrete initiatives in the fields of training, management, and social and health partnerships, while establishing monitoring mechanisms to diagnose the situation of sector officials and propose realistic solutions to the various challenges faced.
The association also aims to enhance social, health, and cultural services for Justice officials, strengthen solidarity and mutual aid mechanisms, support social housing, and encourage sporting and cultural activities, all with the goal of improving the quality of professional and social life within the Justice family.
The initiators of this effort believe that the National Association of Justice Officials is destined to become a proactive social force and an active partner in the justice reform process, placing human dignity and professional integrity at the heart of all development and modernization projects.
