Entrepreneurial Dynamism Confirms Its Strength in Morocco
Entrepreneurial dynamism is firmly established in Morocco. According to the latest data from the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), 34,954 new companies were registered in the commercial register during the first four months of the year.
These figures reflect a sustained vitality in the national economic fabric, primarily driven by corporate legal structures.
Corporate Entities Lead Business Creations
Companies registered as corporate entities account for approximately 75% of new registrations, compared to 25% for individual entrepreneurs.
Among the most commonly used legal forms, the Single Member Limited Liability Company (SARL-AU) stands out with 65.6% of creations, followed by traditional Limited Liability Companies (SARL) at 33.5%.
This trend confirms the predominance of formal and organized structures within the Moroccan entrepreneurial landscape.
Casablanca-Settat Tops the Most Dynamic Regions

This is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (14.5%), Marrakech-Safi (12.7%), and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (10.4%). These four regions together total 76.7% of new registrations, illustrating a strong concentration of economic activity.

This distribution reflects the current structure of the Moroccan economy, where the tertiary and construction sectors hold a central position.
Individual Enterprises More Present in the North and East
Regarding individual entrepreneurs, the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region leads with 21.1% of registrations, followed by Casablanca-Settat (13.4%) and the Oriental region (10.5%).
