Here are the weather forecasts established by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Tuesday, March 11, 2025:

– Rain or locally heavy thunderstorms are expected in the Tangier region, Loukkos, Gharb, Saiss, Rif, and Middle Atlas.

– Moderately heavy rain is anticipated in the plains north of Safi, on the phosphate plateaus, in Oulmès, and the High Atlas.

– Light rain is expected in the Oriental region, along the Mediterranean coast, and in central areas.

– Snowfall is likely in the High and Middle Atlas.

– The weather will be quite cold with frost or icy conditions in the mountainous areas and their neighboring regions.

– There will be strong gusts of wind, locally intense, in the Tangier region, the plains north of Essaouira, the Rif, the Atlas Mountains, the Southeast, and Oriental regions.

– Minimum temperatures will range from -1 to 4°C in the Atlas, Rif, and eastern high plateaus, from 7 to 10°C on the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, in the southeast, in the eastern Saharan provinces, and in the inland plains; while temperatures will be between 10 and 16°C elsewhere in the country.

– Daytime temperatures are expected to rise.

– The sea will be pleasant to slightly rough, occasionally choppy in the Mediterranean, rough to very rough in the Strait, and rough to very rough north of Safi; while it will be slightly rough to rough elsewhere.
