One of the standout events in this phase was the elimination of the reigning champion, Zamalek SC, who were defeated by the South African newcomers Stellenbosch FC, marking one of the largest upsets in the recent history of the competition.

The final four for the 2024/25 edition consists of CS Constantine (Algeria), Simba SC (Tanzania), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa), and Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (Morocco).

The semi-finals will be contested over two legs, scheduled for April 20 and April 27, to determine the two finalists of this edition.
