Royal Air Maroc Renews Partnership with Senegal’s Religious City of Touba
On Thursday, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the religious city of Touba in Senegal renewed their partnership agreement aimed at facilitating the travel of members of the Mouride community and supporting the organization of major religious gatherings, particularly the Grand Magal of Touba.
The signing ceremony took place in Touba, attended by the city’s mayor, Abdou Lahad Kâ, the director of the commercial division of RAM, Ilham Kazzini, along with various company officials and representatives from the Mouride community.
This agreement continues the ongoing cooperation between the two parties, specifically addressing the mobility needs of worshippers, especially those living abroad, during the key religious events held in the city.
The renewal of the partnership also demonstrates the commitment to strengthen relations between Morocco and Senegal, two countries historically connected through spiritual, cultural, and economic exchanges.
For Royal Air Maroc, this convention reaffirms the airline’s commitment to facilitating the travel of the Senegalese diaspora through its international network, particularly during significant religious events in Touba.
This agreement comes just ahead of the upcoming edition of the Grand Magal, one of Senegal’s major religious gatherings that attracts devotees from various regions of the country and abroad each year.
