Barid Al-Maghrib Joins the National Access Rights Portal

Barid Al-Maghrib and the Commission for Access to Information (CDAI) Sign Partnership Agreement in Rabat

On Monday in Rabat, Barid Al-Maghrib and the Commission for Access to Information (CDAI) signed a partnership agreement aimed at integrating the organization into the National Portal for Access to Information (PNDAI). The initiative is designed to enhance transparency and facilitate user access to information.

The agreement was signed by Barid Al-Maghrib’s Director General, Amin Benjelloun Touimi, and the President of the CDAI, Omar Seghrouchni. This move aligns with the Group’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, focusing on modernizing the process for handling information access requests.

With this new integration, users will be able to submit their requests remotely, lodge corresponding complaints, and track the status of their inquiries online. This system will also allow Barid Al-Maghrib to better assess its performance and enhance the quality of its services.

During the signing ceremony, Amin Benjelloun Touimi emphasized that transparency serves as a fundamental lever for building trust between institutions and citizens. He also highlighted the cooperation, training, and awareness opportunities this partnership provides to sustainably embed a culture of transparency within the organization.

Omar Seghrouchni noted that the right to access information is a cornerstone of the rule of law and a vital tool in combating misinformation and disinformation.

Managed by the CDAI, the PNDAI is a digital platform enabling citizens and legally residing foreigners in Morocco to submit and track their access requests and associated complaints, in accordance with Law No. 31.13 regarding the right to access information.

Through this agreement, both parties intend to contribute to a more effective implementation of this right and promote a more transparent, modern administration that is attentive to the needs of its users.
