Barid Al-Maghrib Joins the National Portal for the Right to Access Information to Enhance Transparency

On Monday, October 26, 2026, Mr. Omar Seghrouchni, the President of the Commission for Access to Information, and Mr. Amin Benjelloun Touimi, the General Director of Barid Al-Maghrib, presided over a signing ceremony at the Barid Al-Maghrib Museum in Rabat. This event marked the official partnership agreement for Barid Al-Maghrib’s membership in the National Portal for Access to Information (PNDAI). This initiative is part of the broader effort to reinforce the principles of transparency and openness while facilitating the exercise of the right to access information.

The National Portal for Access to Information is a digital platform managed by the Commission for Access to Information. It allows citizens, as well as legally residing foreigners in Morocco, to submit and track their requests for access to information and related complaints, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 31.13 regarding the right to access information. The platform also provides member organizations with indicators to assess the performance of their request processing systems, enhance the efficiency of the access to information framework, and improve the quality of services offered.

This portal serves as a digital complement to the existing procedures for submitting access requests. It will enable Barid Al-Maghrib to simplify the process of obtaining information and modernize the handling of requests, aligning with its digital transformation efforts and aiming to enhance the use of technology in service of users.

This agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to strengthen the effective implementation of the right to access information and facilitate its exercise by applicants. In doing so, it contributes to promoting a modern and efficient administration that places the user at the center of its concerns.
