AXA Assurance Morocco Launches Its First Pan-African Campaign Focused on Intergenerational Solidarity

AXA Assurance Maroc Launches First Pan-African Communication Campaign

AXA Assurance Maroc has unveiled its inaugural pan-African communication campaign, an initiative that places intergenerational solidarity at the core of its brand identity. Initially launched in Morocco, this campaign aims to strengthen the insurer’s position as a trusted partner while emphasizing the bonds of transmission that characterize African societies.

This new campaign emerges in a context marked by evolving family structures and demographic shifts observed in Morocco and across the continent. In light of these changes, AXA seeks to underscore the importance of protection, support, and assistance between generations.

A Campaign Inspired by Moroccan Cultural Heritage

Crafted by Publicis Conseil, the campaign aligns with the global brand platform “Why should the future be a risk?” It features “L’Mardi,” a character drawn from Moroccan folklore, symbolizing the responsibilities shouldered by intermediate generations.

Through this reimagined tale, AXA illustrates a form of transmission that transcends material possessions, highlighting the sharing of knowledge, experiences, advice, and quality time spent with loved ones.

The campaign’s central message, “Let’s take care of each other. It’s the finest protection,” reflects the insurer’s commitment to promoting a vision of protection rooted in human connections as much as in insurance solutions.

A Broadened Vision of Protection

With this campaign, AXA aims to remind audiences that protection goes beyond risk coverage. It also encompasses acts of solidarity, daily mutual aid, and the trust that binds families and communities together.

This approach complements the group’s development strategy in Africa while showcasing its comprehensive offerings in life insurance, savings, health, as well as property and liability insurance.

Crafting Emotion Through Artisan Realization

To bring this story to life, AXA opted for a stop-motion technique, favoring handcrafted sets over images generated by artificial intelligence.

This artistic approach creates a visual universe inspired by traditional tales, where magic serves as a metaphor for solidarity, transmission, and attentiveness toward others.

Deployment in Multiple African Countries

The campaign will run in Morocco from June 29 to August 15, 2026. Following this, it will gradually launch in Senegal, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Egypt, and Nigeria, with a subsequent rollout scheduled for Morocco in the fall.

Through this first pan-African campaign, AXA Assurance Maroc reaffirms its commitment to enhancing its presence on the continent while promoting universally valued principles such as solidarity, transmission, and the protection of future generations.
