Morocco: Appointment of Mohamed Ezzahaoui as Head of the ADII and Abdellatif Amrani as General Treasurer of the Kingdom

The Delegate Minister in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, presided over the official inauguration ceremony of Mohamed Ezzahaoui as the Director General of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII), as well as Abdellatif Amrani as General Treasurer of the Kingdom, on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The ceremony took place at ADII headquarters and was attended by several officials and directors from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Mohamed Ezzahaoui Takes the Helm of ADII
During his speech, Fouzi Lekjaa praised the appointment of Mohamed Ezzahaoui, emphasizing that it rewards a career characterized by experience and commitment within the customs administration.
The minister expressed his wishes for success in Ezzahaoui’s new role, highlighting the strategic role that ADII plays in the economic development of the Kingdom.
Tribute to Customs Administration Staff
The minister also paid tribute to the women and men of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes for their efforts and contributions to strengthening the missions of control, regulation, and support for the national economy.
Abdellatif Amrani Appointed General Treasurer of the Kingdom
Fouzi Lekjaa congratulated Abdellatif Amrani for the trust placed in him through his nomination as General Treasurer of the Kingdom.
The minister praised Amrani’s professional skills and his commitment during his tenure at the head of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes, highlighting his experience in managing public finances and administrative institutions.
