Morocco Regains 11th Position in the World Rankings

FIFA Ranking: The Atlas Lions Climb to 11th Place
The Lions of the Atlas have gained one position in the latest FIFA Men’s Football Ranking, released on Wednesday by the International Football Federation (FIFA), reclaiming the 11th spot globally.
With two victories, Morocco now totals 1713.12 points, an increase of 3.01 points compared to the October ranking, benefiting from the drop of Italy, which fell two places to 12th.
Ahead of Morocco are Croatia (10th, +1), with a total of 1716.88 points, Germany (9th, +1) with 1724.15 points, and Belgium (8th).
At the top of the podium, the leading trio remains unchanged: Spain (1st), Argentina (2nd), and France (3rd), while England retains its 4th place.
Following closely is Brazil, which has climbed two spots to 5th, succeeded by Portugal (6th, -1) and the Netherlands (7th, -1).
At the continental level, Morocco continues to lead Africa, followed by Senegal, which sits at 19th in the world (-1). Egypt is ranked 34th (-2), followed by Algeria at 35th.
Notable progress is seen further down the rankings, with Malta (161st) gaining five places, while the Republic of Ireland (59th) has recorded the highest point increase (+34.86). The biggest drop occurred for El Salvador (100th), which fell six places, and Denmark (21st) lost the highest number of points (-24.27).
