Fenie Brossette Takes a Significant Step Forward with Acquisition of Sopriam
Fenie Brossette is marking a new milestone in its growth by announcing the signing of an agreement to acquire the business operations of Sopriam, a subsidiary of the Stellantis Group, in Agadir.
Signed on July 14, 2026, this agreement encompasses all activities related to the marketing of new and used vehicles, the sale of spare parts, along with the repair and maintenance services that Sopriam provides in the region.
Several International Brands Involved
This operation allows Fenie Brossette to take over the distribution of several iconic brands from Stellantis, including Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, and Leapmotor. It also encompasses all after-sales service (SAV) activities, which are essential for ensuring continuity of services offered to customers and enhancing the quality of support post-purchase.
Completion Expected by the End of 2026
Fenie Brossette has indicated that this acquisition should be finalized during the 2026 fiscal year, contingent on meeting the usual conditions required for such transactions. The definitive conclusion of this deal is particularly dependent on obtaining authorization from the Competition Council, in line with current regulations.
A Strengthened Strategic Partnership with Stellantis
This acquisition is a continuation of the strategic partnership that has been developed between Fenie Brossette and Stellantis in Morocco. The group is already successfully distributing FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Jeep®, and Abarth brands in the Agadir region. The integration of Sopriam’s activities will therefore expand its portfolio and enhance its presence in the national automotive market.
According to Fenie Brossette, this new operation highlights Stellantis’s renewed confidence in its Moroccan partner to support the development of its various brands and fortify its distribution network across the Kingdom.
