Over 528,000 Candidates Take the 2026 Baccalaureate Exam in Morocco

The regular session of the national unified baccalaureate examination for 2026 began on Thursday, June 4, across the Kingdom, with a total of 528,135 candidates registered from all streams.
According to the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, this figure includes 426,637 enrolled candidates and 101,498 independent candidates.
Exams Running until June 6; Results Expected in Mid-June
The exams will continue until June 6, 2026, while the resit session is scheduled for July 2, 3, and 4, 2026.
The results of the regular session will be announced on June 17, and those of the resit session on July 11, 2026.
A Strong Preference for Scientific Streams
The ministry also indicates that private education accounts for approximately 11% of the candidates.
The distribution of enrolled candidates is as follows:
71% in scientific and technical streams
29% in literary and original streams
Less than 1% in vocational streams
Substantial Logistical and Human Resources
To ensure the smooth running of the examinations, the ministry has mobilized:
over 2,000 examination centers
approximately 26,407 rooms
more than 107,000 supervisors
around 31,600 examiners
as well as hundreds of regional supervisors.
Additionally, 597 examination subjects have been prepared, including 79 adapted for candidates with disabilities.
