The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a day marked by locally stormy showers across several regions of the Kingdom, particularly in the High and Middle Atlas mountains and their neighboring areas, the Rif, the southeastern regions, and the Oriental.

The sky will generally be partly cloudy to occasionally overcast over the plains south of the Atlas mountains, the northern and central coasts, as well as the western Mediterranean shores, with some scattered light rain in certain areas.

Snow and Strong Winds

Snow is expected on the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas at elevations exceeding 2,000 meters.

Additionally, moderate to strong gusts of wind will affect the central coasts, the southern parts of the Eastern region, the Atlas mountains, the southeast of the country, and the southern provinces, along with localized dust storm phenomena.

Slight Decrease in Temperatures

Minimum temperatures will range between 2 and 9 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 13 and 18 degrees in the far south of the Saharan provinces and near the coasts, and between 10 and 14 degrees in the rest of the country.

As for maximum temperatures, a decrease is expected in the eastern part of the Kingdom, the Mediterranean coast, the Middle Atlas, and the southeast, while a slight increase will be recorded in other regions.

Sea Conditions

The sea will be slightly to moderately agitated in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly agitated in the Strait, slightly to moderately agitated between Tangier and Mahdia, and agitated to rough between Mahdia and Tarfaya, with rough waters south of Tarfaya.
