Weather Forecast for Sunday, April 20, 2025

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued the following weather forecasts for Sunday, April 20, 2025:

• The sky will be intermittently cloudy, with scattered showers or light rain expected in the Northwestern regions, Rif, Saiss, Oulmes, the Middle Atlas, the Mediterranean coast, and the Oriental region.
• Local thunderstorms may occur in the northern part of the Oriental.
• The weather will be quite warm in the Southeast, the interior of the Southern provinces, and in the Souss region.
• Snowflakes are anticipated on the peaks of the Middle Atlas.
• Strong gusts of wind are expected along the Mediterranean, in the Oriental region, and on the Central and Southern coasts.
• Dust storms may occur in spots across the Southern regions and the Oriental.
• Minimum temperatures are projected to be around 0 to 6°C in the Atlas and Rif regions, 12 to 18°C in the Southeast and Southern provinces, and 6 to 13°C elsewhere.
• Generally, a decrease in temperatures is expected.
• The sea will be moderately to rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, very rough between Cape Tafelney and Cape Draa, and turbulent to rough in other areas.
