Snow and Heavy Rain Forecast Across Several Provinces

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), significant snow accumulation is expected starting at elevations of 1,700 meters, along with heavy local rain that may include thunderstorms, from Sunday to Monday across various provinces in the Kingdom.

The DGM’s alert bulletin indicates that snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 centimeters are anticipated in the provinces of Al Haouz and Azilal from Sunday at 12:00 PM until Monday at 9:00 AM, categorized as an "orange" level warning.

Additionally, provinces such as Ifrane, Boulemane, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Midelt, Ouarzazate, Sefrou, and Tinghir will also experience snowfall of 10 to 15 centimeters during the same period.

Furthermore, localized heavy rain, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected to affect the provinces of Tanger-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Tetouan, Larache, and Kénitra on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as reported by the same source.
