Classes suspended in Chtouka Aït Baha due to forecasted weather disturbances.

The provincial monitoring committee of Chtouka Aït Baha has announced the exceptional suspension of classes for Saturday across all public and private educational institutions in the province, due to anticipated weather disruptions.

This decision, according to a statement from the commission received by the Maghreb Arab Press (MAP), follows an alert issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, warning of unstable weather conditions that will affect several regions of the Kingdom, including Chtouka Aït Baha.

The statement specifies that this measure is part of preventive actions aimed at ensuring the safety of students as well as educational and administrative staff, in order to avoid any potential risks related to deteriorating weather conditions, specifically heavy rainfall and wind gusts that may disrupt travel.

The provincial monitoring committee urges all families and educational sector stakeholders to adhere to this decision and to follow updates published by the relevant authorities, emphasizing that the safety of students remains a top priority in such exceptional circumstances.

Normal classes are expected to resume as soon as weather conditions improve, in accordance with announcements to be made later by provincial authorities.
